d_composition is a Frankensteinian monster pieced together of art historical takes which welcome the presence lurking in the dark. It is an ongoing project that has spilled out from Maya’s PhD research on the corpse in contemporary art. Over time, d_composition has developed a taste for all manner of the macabre, weird, and goth. It’s an ever evolving beast which currently takes form as a blog, occasional Substack, and Instagram.
